The pavement is my canvas. Every crack, shadow, and stretch of asphalt frames the raw intensity, silent pauses, and unbreakable bonds I capture through my lens.

The Vision
Photography has always been who I am, even long before I had the confidence to pursue it. Growing up, I didn’t see many Black photographers documenting our history, our beauty, or our everyday truth—so I became the person I needed to see. My work is an extension of me: raw, real, and grounded in the power of people.
I shoot almost exclusively in black and white, avoiding heavy Photoshop or major editing. I believe the moment itself is enough—the emotion, the expression, the story. That’s what inspires me the most. When I photograph someone, I want them to see themselves clearly and feel the greatness already inside them.
One of my proudest full-circle moments was working with Smoke DZA, a project that reflected how far I’ve come by simply staying true to who I am. Photography is in my heart, and even on the toughest days, I create because I have no choice—it’s part of me.
Outside of the camera, I’m fueled by books, art, and anything that feeds the creative mind. And if my camera could talk, it would probably say, “We go everywhere together.”
